1.

How do I become a Member of Gulf Hammock Hunting Club?

A Membership application is available for download on the GHHC website at www.gulfhammockhuntclub.com under the "Membership" tab. The GHHC rules are also included. This is the first place to start when considering becoming a member and this pdf likely contains the answers to most of your questions.

2.

How much are dues?

Dues are set each year based on the estimated number of members the board believes will renew their membership. There is no cap to membership, although there is a more ideal number than an infinite amount of people. In 2020, there were approximately 300 members and dues were $1,400. The goal is always to keep dues the same, but that is not always possible.

3.

Is it possible to camp inside GHHC?

Yes, it is. However, there are only a certain number of leases available. Refer to the rules under "Camping Regulations" for more information.

4.

Can I come ride through the club to look around?

Part of the club is accessible with county roads, primarily Fish Camp Road and Buck Island Road. You are free to use these roads at any time. Members are allowed to bring in a guest, but that person is not allowed to hunt or have a gun unless a Guest Pass has been purchased. See the GHHC Rules under "General Regulations," item number 3, "Visitors and Guests." Limited visitation can be arranged by appointment with the Club Secretary.

5.

Can I use dogs to hunt in GHHC?

Yes. The use of dogs to trail and pursue deer or trail and bay hogs is allowed during regular gun season. Catch dogs are not allowed. Members must make every effort to prevent dogs from entering adjacent private properties. Members may not release dogs within 1/2 mile of the 160-acre tract of land that lies immediately at the junction of Swilley Road and Watson Trail.
